It's Fleet Week in NYC. A few pics of the ships heading into NY Harbor

The ships came in thru the Verrazano Narrows, under the bridge. The 21 gun salute from Fort Hamilton blew me out of bed, so I went out on my porch and took some pictures.

This ship stayed in place and welcomed the other ships as them came thru.
I think that is a fire boat making the "fountain".

5. Hey, I was wondering.........

if you were seen taking these photos? I would think that any Fearful Citizen would turn you in as a Terrorist. I am a shooter myself, and keep wondering when I will be hauled away for taking shots of Bridges and Buildings and stuff. BTW, I love the bridges in the NY area, especially the GW on the Fort Lee side. Keep up the good work and we will be looking for more of your posts later.

There's really no place like it. I lived in CT all my life, about an hour and a half away. Moved to AZ to be with family, but think I'm gonna have to move back.
