WTF do Bush and Blair talk about when they are alone? |
|
What is their relationship REALLY like? It's really hard to imagine exactly what goes on.
I have a feeling that old Tony is a bit terse with Bunnypants these days.
Seems like it's probably a bit icy.

Blair must have some clue as to how dense George is. He probably considers him a necessary nuisance.

8. I think he must really hate George. |

He's like the friend you had who always talked you into doing some really stupid shit. Tony is too smart to not be pissed off by having let George drag him down.

12. I bet they speak as little as possible to each other. |
|
Blair may have blundered horribly by supporting Bush's Iraq initiative but just the same, I doubt if he can stand to be around the little monkey for longer than a few formal minutes.

13. Blair tries to steer Bush away from BLATANT war crimes |
|
as the Downing Street Minutes show. He's on board for the scam, but like most pols, Blair is more of a subtle grifter. Bush is like the guy in the alley who jumps out and hits you in the face with a baseball bat. When you get hit with the bat, you know you've been mugged. When the grifter is through with you, you hope you see him again.
That is fundamentally the difference between Bush and his dad. Papa Bush served the same business interests, but when he attacked Iraq, he convinced neighboring countries to help and others to pay. Baby Bush doesn't have time for the long con. He just lies, calls anyone who doesn't immediately join him a pansy or traitor, then does what he wants.

20. I don't honestly think they DO talk when they are alone. |
|
Nope. I can't imagine what they'd say to each other. Monkeyass would just do that stupid "heh heh" thing and Blair might roll his eyes and want to punch him, and then leave.
