I always try to post one that isn't quite right. A McCoy or Bok usually. just to get a rise. There are liberal cartoonists that make fun of the Dems too, they often deserve ridicule.

I agree 100%. There are a few in there which made me queesy, like the ones about Iran and nuclear energy. Way to parrot the neo-con talking points.

And I don't know why you have to water down a few perfectly good cartoons with garbage ones that mock Democrats... for example the cartoons that show Dems covered with darts, while the Alito dartboard is untouched. That is a stupid cartoon that misses the intended target pretty badly itself. I don't know why you would think that's funny or even on-target... oh well, maybe it's part of the whole "circular firing squad" mentality.

I also think it's a waste of space to post "culture" cartoons, like the one about i-Pods. This is still a left wing political site, right? Could you try to limit it to actual political cartoons?

There are too many cartoons, you watered it down with junk. My suggestion is to pick the best ones and leave out the crap.

I know my post count shows me to be a newbie, and I'm sure you will dismiss my opinion on that basis, but I've been reading DU for about 2 years. The cartoon threads used to be a reason to come here, in the beginning.

Sorry if this is critical, but I don't want to read f#cking right wing cartoons on DU!!! That should be a no-brainer!!!!

Humour is an interesting way of portraying political points of view.
I can laugh of rw humour, if for nothing else because it's silly, and I appreciate the offset towards the usual laughs.

Really, friend. We mustn't be too introvert, and cartoons are a fun way of poking into the rw way of thinking.
