off my minivan back window. I guess it's one of the 28 percent who think Bush is doing a helluva job. So, I guess I'll have to buy a few more! (Uh oh - on edit, my particular square type may have been discontinued. More shopping ensues!)

I'm actually sorry I missed it. It can't have been easy to take off, and I would have enjoyed the rage this person must have felt as he or she struggled to peel it off.

Anyone else have this problem recently?

1. Maybe they wanted it for themselves?
They probably are a hot commodity these days.

2. See if you can find a sticker that goes on the inside of your window...
..they are angry that the country is turning against them....

3. Or get one of those magnetic
ones where you can take it with you so the thieves can't swipe it.

I don't have a car anymore so I don't get to play around with offending bumperstickers.

4. I've only had a few problems
I've had mine about the same amount of time. About six months ago, some jerk made a whimpy effort to key-scratch it.

I've had a few, not many, people ask me if I had a problem with Bush -- Once I start my "you mean that greedy, callous, warmongering, bigoted . . . . . ." tirade, they move on.

I've had a bunch of positive comments, more recently.

The American flag sticker I put on right after 9/11 has badly faded -- that and the No Bush sticker go together right now.

5. Yes, they have been so proud to be repugs, now they are hurt
and angry? Interesting timing to have this happen to you.

6. I thought so, too.
I live in a rather "red" part of New York State, but sightings of the Bush/Cheney and W'04 stickers have been few and far between lately.

Like I said, I'm sorry I didn't either view it or happen upon it.

8. Yes, I think someone is not dealing well with reality, and took it
out on your sticker. Some how I don't think it helped much
beyond the moment. Consider yourself as having donated your sticker
to repug rehab!

7. My sticker story
Since about 4 or 5 years ago, I was sporting a sticker that read "IMPEACH BUSH AND HIS CABAL" in big red block letters. During the 2004 campaign, I picked up a few "If you love your freedom - Thank a Veteran!", being a veteran and all (Air Force Technical Applications Center 1986-1990). I cut the vet sticker in half, and placed it so that it read "If you love your freedom - IMPEACH BUSH AND HIS CABAL" Well, this one got removed after a few months, just before the election. So, I then used the other half of the vet sticker, and along with a John Kerry sticker, had "Thank a (real) Veteran! - John Kerry 2004". I put the "real" part in there with a sharpie. Well, this REALLY, REALLY pissed them off, and some ex-marine punk started leaving notes on my car at work. Written in angry 5 year-old script, he scribbled something like "I'm a VET!, and REAL vets can't stand John Kerry. Blah blah blah, you fucking whining liberal punk! blah blah blah." He was stupid enough to leave his e-mail address (barely discernable, his name's Brady and he goes to UCSD and apparently know karate), and I eventually was able to contact him, and offered to buy the first beer, if he would like to discuss the reasons why "REAL" patriots should vote for Kerry, not Dumbya. Well, he never took me up on it, in spite of several kind offers. He also left some short notes, in an attempt to scare me, i guess, which only encouraged me to add more anti-bush stickers to my car (which is now amply covered). The last note I got said "bush has balls", I thought, "...tiny balls...for brains" I'm thinking of putting the notes up in my window, for all to read. I haven't gotten attacked lately, though, but it's good to know they're getting more and more pissed, like cornered animals. I've also had my car "keyed" and spat on, each time encouraging me to add more stickers. The way I figure, the "REAL" debate is going on on the bumpers of America. Keep on Stickin'...

Peace - :)

11. And my TEXAS IS CINDY COUNTRY sticker somehow remains intact
I thought someone would have tried to vandalize my car by now, but so far, no takers. Wild.

12. So far my "Impeach Bush" sticker is still on the back of my car.
No one has tried to key my car either and I have had it on for a couple of months now. In my area, I never see any stickers for Bush anymore although many are still using the "Support the Troops" ribbon magnets.
