Santorum Whines About Unpopularity of Bush's Quagmire
Edited on Fri Jan-13-06 12:01 PM by Yollam
Also, I've come up with a great new nickname for the Pennsylvania corpse-cuddler.

"Sphinctorum"

Thank you very much.

Here he whines about how liberals and the (pro-war) media have undermined support for Bush's quagmire.

Santorum says liberals, media are undermining war support

VALLEY FORGE, Pa. - Sen. Rick Santorum on Thursday accused the news media and liberals of undermining support for the Iraq war at a time when, he said, Islamic fundamentalist pose a serious threat to national security.

"The challenge for liberty today, the challenge for our generation is the spread of Islamic fascism," said Santorum, the No. 3 Senate Republican.

Speaking for about an hour to more than 300 cadets at the Valley Forge Military Academy, Santorum said public support for the war has been difficult to maintain because of "biased coverage of the war and the political left demagoguery of the war."

He also urged President Bush to create an independent panel to examine progress in Iraq that should be a "look forward not a look back." Last week, Santorum wrote a lettter to Bush asking for the panel to be created.

1. Cry me a river, Mr. Santorum
And when you're done, either sail away on it or explain just how you think it is that our military killing and dying Iraq has anything to do with -- what's your raison du jour? -- ah, Islamic fascism?

"Corpse-cuddler." Perfect.

3. Wasn't too long ago that Dog-Sex Ricky claimed to be against the war too
Guess now that his claim was opposed as a lie, Santorum's back to being a war supporter.

4. He goes to a college to give a political speech. Tacky.
I dunno, it just seems a little strange to me -- even if it is a military college. I remember when speeches before schools were usually intended to be uplifting and all that rot -- not sorry-assed defenses of one's political opinions. I guess the Puppyf**ker has decided to take a page from 's playbook and go for the captive audiences now.

5. Little Ricky looks relatively young and healthy
Why isn't he over there sharing the good news with the good people of Sadr City and the Triangle of Death? At least now that it's an election year, he seems to have researched how to find Pennsylvania.

6. Let's not put the blame on their actions for this war
let's blame the "liberal media".... The republicans wanted this war, they got it, now deal with it. Stop blaming everyone but the ones that deserve it, the Bush Administration.....

he didn't want anything to do with Bush. Remember when Bush came to town last year he was conveniently away?
