are Robert Kennedy Jr on "Ring of Fire" and Sam Seder/Jeanne Garofola on the "Marjority Report" but I guess she is only going to be on, on a limited basis. :-(

10. Springer has the ultimate prime spot---

at least for the Mountain Time Zone--7AM-10. Our own AAR affiliate doesn't carry him, but rather runs Jay Marvin, who is better, for sure. But, damn, I bought XM and want to listen to it, rather than scratchy AM.

Shoot, I've even gone back to NPR during that time period. I used to love love love NPR, but that adoration dropped dramatically with much of their RW sycophancy the past few years.


Bottom line, AAR ought to get someone better than Springer in that prime time.

I've never listened to Stephanie, but she is unlikely to have me flinging myself across the room to tune my XM off AAR at 7AM MT, when Rachel goes off and Springer comes on. I don't dislike him personally, but I just can not tolerate a RW or Bush apologist that early in the morning as I'm trying to get out the door. Even if it is being done in the name of "fairness," he overdoes it.

When the Japanese American former professor of Bush at Harvard Business School called in to give a very cogent and apropros description of Bush as his student--and how that pattern of thinking influences his views today-- Springer all but cut him off, saying something to the effect that we all say stupid things when we are younger. Damn, this just pissed me off--the last straw-- and started my desperate morning gymnastics!

Jerry's a nice guy, I'm sure, but damn he just cuts us off at the knees when he bends over for these RWers. Plus, he doesn't keep up very well, so he's always spouting old news, often after it has already changed or been corrected. So come on Stephanie. I hope it is true.

No, I don't hate Jerry at all. Like you, I listened to him daily--sometimes enjoyed him, sometimes not. But, lately, I'm just saturated with our Dems and Progressives not standing up and strongly countering the RW talking points. So, while Springer can be commended for getting some moderate Repugs to listen to him, he does so, at my expense. It feels this way, anyway.

Now that I'm due at work at 8AM, I listen to Rachel and Stephanie online through the Boston AAR affiliate.

While Stephanie can get a little infantile, at least she keeps me awake. And even if I did like Springer, his TV show undermines his credibility. I've love it if she replaced Springer in New York.

the same Network that produces the Ed Schultz show.

I listen to Framingham 1200 AM. They're a progressive radio station, not an AAR-only one, so they play Stephanie Miller show from the 09:00 AM - 12:00 pm slot.

I also subscribe to Stephcast, so I can download Steph's shows and listen at my convenience.
