Where can I apply for a radio show host job?
I figure, some of the people on the radio nowadays, both sides and in the middle, too, are not experts by any means in their field. They're ordinary people who know how to keep their voice above the crowd, and can tolerate massive amounts of shit piled on them. They have healthy egos, and they pretty much can say anything they want to, excepting, of course, slanderous or defamatory remarks (even there, they can get away with a lot).

I want to be just like them. I don't even care if I get paid or not until I get established--just put me on the radio and give me a half-hour or an hour, and I guarantee I can keep it lively. I am an expert on a few things, though, nothing to do with politics, though--I am a certified expert on actors and TV trivia, and I'm pretty polished on almost any and all science fiction as well (TV oriented).

I don't yell, and I can act fairly objective in a crisis, and I know how to speak well, being an English major in college. I write well (my specialty) and have an excellent command of the English language, and I am very opinionated when it counts (a must-have when you're doing political radio). I can see the forest for the trees, and I have a Yankee's common sense, and that same Yankee ingenuity and ability to say things like they are.

Anyone have a job for me? I think I will be better qualified than some of the idiots on political radio nowadays. I mean, if a drug addict can do it, I know I can certainly do better. :)

1. Apply yourself to sounding good on-mic. That's where to start...
...and it's not as easy as it sounds.

2. My suggestion...start podcasting
Build up some radio cred by starting a podcast where you can cut your chops. It's actually difficult work.
