This is what we're up against
I frequent an LSU sports message board, which happens to have a political discussion section. I don't usually stray in there as it is so conservative (for example, the LSU College Republicans in 2004 sold 20,000 purple and gold Bush/Cheney 04 bumperstickers in ONE WEEK), but I had to post this. I could find plenty of likewise examples, but this is the newest and wackiest:

"Liberal environmental whackos are brainwashers.
And, if you get in their way of brainwashing one person, they are going to come after you. I believe they are demon possessed. They are rather radical like Adolph Hitler.

I believe the Bible when it says that in the "end times", "they" will worship the creation over the CREATOR.

Call me a religious nut, but that's how I see it. "

Oh, and this:

" Today in the United States
There were NO terrorist atttacks.

....So the liberals are crying."

I hate certain parts of the South.

1. "Most people aren't very smart."
That's my Axiom #1. As long as I remember that, things make much more sense.

3. I'll go you one better.
"Most people are complete morons." I find confirmation for this theory every single day.

11. I think the 30% ideological crazies is in line with other societies.
The world is about 10% functional psychopath and/or followers of such. There's a higher concentration in politics/military/law enforcement (they seek positions of power). I'm guessing the 30% is an inflated representation of that constant, since the polls are restricted to registered voters.

There is no getting through to these people. They operate in a different realm of illogic. I wouldn't waste another ounce of energy on them.

7. Um .... There was one HUGE Terrorist Attack ....
and it happened while the GOP was cutting ANTI-Terrorism funding for law enforcement, all while getting innocuous little memos titled "Bin Laden Determined To Attack United States" ....

Yeah ... lots of CRAZY idiots in this country ... but they are wrong, as usual ....

Edited on Mon May-29-06 03:22 AM by mrcheerful
China. Can't very well call liberals commies anymore when your supporting the commies. So who's the next evil empire that the wing nuts know about, nazis. Though if they would bother to check out facts, nazis are what you get when you get to far to the right, but hey when did facts mean a thing to wing nuts?

10. Bunch of assholes!
I know them and met MANY like them. I went to LSU and LEFT the damn school because it is FULL OF RACISTS!!! It is the only school in Louisiana that I have attended where you can hear white people use the word "nigger" on a daily basis. There are good people there too, but they are overshadowed by so many neo-Nazis.... REAL neo-Nazis and Klansman.

LSU is a huge nest full of KKK and white supremacists. I went to a party at one of the mansions overlooking the lake, and it turns out Bush was there the week before - there was a HUGH1!, brand new oil painting of Bushler in the living room! :puke:
