I quit watching the news after the Iraq invasion. I couldn't stand to see the tv cheerleaders assuming the right to memoralize something they helped create, especially Stef... I just felt revulsion every time they did a sentimental spiel on someone they didn't know and their actions showed they had no use for. I appreciate that this would give consolation to some of the families, but, personally, I couldn't take it.
