My LTTE on immigration reform. Comments?

I have a solution to the border-immigration problem that even Lou Dobbs can love.

First, we “convince” President Vincente Fox to require all Mexican citizens, under threat of incarceration, to wear new, special, ID necklaces. These special necklaces shall be provided free of charge, under a no-bid U.S. Government contract to the newly merged, Halliburton-Bechtel-Blackwater-Invisible Fence Corporation.

A cable will then be buried under the entire length of the U.S.-Mexico border. Once a foreigner approaches to within 200 yards of the border they will be quietly persuaded not to come any closer.

This would be much more effective and aesthetically pleasing than eyesores such as a fence, or roving bands of minutemen. And we wouldn’t have to rotate National Guard troops in and out every two weeks.
