If we can't get control of the media by purchasing it, how about we...
... take it over from the inside - lets all become reporters, editors, and station managers!

1. unfortunately, that's not going to work.
There are many already existent liberal reporters and editors. Look higher: the tone is set by publishers, and by the fear of god the right wing instills in the publishers and top editors by mounting massive harrassment attacks everytime they think the paper is too "liberal".
The squeaky wheel DOES get greased. Add to that, the uberinfluence of project mockingbird, and you'll see that becoming mere employees isn't enough, because mere employees are being ground to dust in the present system.

3. We reinvent the media
We get copies of "Outfoxed" to pass out to people to watch at home. We talk to people individually. We meet in groups and plan town hall meetings. We print up flyers. We recommend websites. We create an alternative news network to get out the truth.

4. Any way to hack the MSM's computers...
So they are reading accurate news from the teleprompters, instead of their usual right wing propaganda catapulting?

Disclaimer:
Not that any upstanding citizens around this site would ever consider doing such a thing. Just exploring the possiblities of extreme right wing threats to our nation's news outlet for the sake of our 'freedoms.'

9. They go along with their customers opinions- we have to educate consumers
and since a huge number of people who are Bush voters are like him - they don't read or watch the news on TV - we have to find another way to educate them.

12. Ownership = control over content
Even "liberal" reporters have housepayments, car payments, college loans, tuition expenses for kids.. They need medical insurance for their families.

....conformity, in order to keep that paycheck, kicks in relatively soon.
