Help> the ERD..Need Election Reform Minded Volunteer 1 hr/wk

Its time to rotate some new Volunteers into the ERD, the Election Reform Daily thread. The ERD is all about Elections, the candidates, voting machines, recounts, crooked election officals etc.



Like Ohio SOS KEN BLACKWELL.

Ideally volunteers spend about an hour posting a compilation,
(I do google news searches, like Diebold, ES&S, Seqouia, Election Oficials, Recount) posting a compilation of election related news articles.

Right now the ERD needs editors for Friday & Saturday, but anyone who wants to drop into the Election Reform Forum and post an article in the ERD is welcome. If you read something in your local paper, then please post it up.

1. Posting the ERD is really interesting this year because

not only is it an election years but the "Help America Vote" Act is being implemented. There's election drama all over the country right now.

It's a great way to find out what's going on. :)

3. It really doesn't take that much time, once you get the hang of it.

You do learn so much! I find myself spending more time than I would need to, just because I actually enjoy the task so much. Plus, it's a great group to work with. Everyone is very helpful and supportive.

8. I'm not sure about all the days.

The only spot I know of for sure is Friday. I'm still willing to do Saturday, at least until the end of the summer.
