Isn't it more likely that Phelps is in cahoots with Bush? |
|
I mean think about it. Phelps and his slimeball family were protesting homosexual funerals. The problem with that for Phelps is that it is not high profile enough. So what does he do? Phelp's starts protesting dead war soldier's funerals. That will make the front page of a lot of newspapers. Oh and it gives Bush a photo op to sign a bill creating more "free speech zones" on Memorial Day no less. This whole thing rings of congress rushing to the aid of Terry Schiavo. Phelps is a demented sick fuck, he has this whole family of lawyers have got some very strange tactics. Why would they intentionally go out and piss off a bunch of people(Repubs.) that would normally be right behind them if they stuck to protesting the funerals of homosexuals. I may have my tinfoil on tight and the coat hanger antenna might need some tuning but something smells rotten inside the Beltway on this one.

I've thought so for some time. Probably got them pretty cheap, too.

Phelps was sick puppy long before Bush came into the picture and was protesting before Bush was president...and believe it or not most Repubs do NOT support this whackjob. He is an equal opportunity offender. I think the only people he doesn't offend are the members of his church...which are mostly family members...go figure.

3. Repukes support his anti-gay ideology. |
|
If they don't support him directly. The whole thing looks staged to me. A whole family of lawyers? You have to have half a brain to pass the bar. Their actions seem very deliberate to me. Calculating.

7. well, just look at their history if you don't mind being ill to your |

stomach. They have been at this crap forever. They are a smart and crafty bunch...the law degrees are there only to say "just try to stop us and we'll sue for our freedoms...and some bucks to continue the 'ministry' of our church."
Everyone hates these asswipes...I know a large number of anti-gay Repulicans...and everyone I have ever spoken to thinks this loon deserves a swift kick in the nuts. Just a couple of months back one of them spoke out quite clearly that he hopes someone from a funeral procession will get out of a vehicle and beat him and his little crowd senseless.

4. Yes. Phelps is getting $$ from SOMEWHERE. It's "likely", just not certain. |
|
But hey, who else would be funding this wackjob?
I, like many, had assumed that Phelps funded his clan with lawsuits brought by all his Lawyer-children....
But where are all these lawsuits? Why have I never seen any being mentioned in all the stories about the Phelpsbots? And do we imagine that ANYONE in Kansas is actually going to these folks for everyday legal representation these days?
I have begun to suspect that Fred has been tapping some alternate source of funds... and the timing of his change in tactics seems awfully darned CONVENIENT for a certain administration with a habit of using taxpayer $$$ to secretly create domestic propaganda.
Shit, they CREATED Jeff Gannon from the ground up... slipping crazy Fred a few bucks to shift his freakshow to MILITARY funerals pales in comparison.

9. Inquiring minds want to know! |

If Phelps is still LEGALLY claiming that his little family cult is a tax-exempt "church", does that give the public any right to view his tax returns?
Whether he's getting paid by B*shCabal or not, I betcha there's some VERY interesting stuff in those!

5. No, Phelps is just crazy |
|
I don't understand why the republicans don't have to claim him but for some reason we have to claim every Hollywood actor that says something crazy and that Crips founder guy. Fucking news media.

6. He's fighting FREE SPEECH |
|
He's being bankrolled by some wealthy Straussian.
That's what he's all about. That is why he's changing lately, protesting military funerals.
They want to chip away at our right to speak.
