The 29% will soon become the 10%, then the 2%. Then what?
Will they go to the thermometer scale and start going BELOW 0% approval ratings for the W?

How about .02%? And who cares anyway? These numbers fly around the air like gnats.

When every last living creature on earth disapproves of the president, will it even matter?

8. So it's utterly impossible to even imagine W not finishing his term?
Anything's possible in America.

10. Has to leave? Who's going to make him?
The unitary executive goes where he wants, when he DECIDES to go!

3. In my humble opinion...
...the lowest he can go without being impeached is 25%. As soon as he drops below that, his cohorts in the House and Senate see him as a liability, and begin talking about impeachment.

Then the Democrats in Congress realize it's okay to talk about impeachment, now that the big boys are doing it, and * goes down for any number of high crimes and/or misdemeanors.

4. It's time for some more poll numbers.
The 29% figure is getting stale. It must have dropped below that by now, no?

5. I don't think it's anywhere near as high as 29%.
I suspect that the media may actually be straining the truth just a wee bit.

11. I don't think it will ever get THAT low...
I'd say it's pretty reasonable to count on a solid 18% no matter what transpires. He could bite the heads off cute little puppies on national TV and you'd still have 18% who'd say those liberal terrorist puppies were a threat to our national security.

13. You're wrong. It's almost bottomed out.
There are at least 25% of Americans who would support Bush EVEN IF:

His red-ink crap economic policies were to devalue the dollar to 10% of its present value

He was publicly executing homosexuals and liberals in the town squares

He invaded France because of their insults to America

He outsourced our military, the WHOLE military to China

I shit you not, there is nothing that would change these people's minds, and it would be impossible for him to be too right wing in their eyes. I STILL hear these lunatics saying Bush is "too liberal" - with a straight face!

19. No it won't
You underestimate the stupidity and sheer gall of these bots. They're plain evil, and they will never admit they're wrong. Smirk is about as low as he can go, unless the Xtian nutbar right decides he's Satan. THEN he might dip below 20 percent.
