Feingold to address New Hampshire Democratic convention

RAW STORY
Published: Tuesday May 30, 2006

Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI) is set to deliver key addresses this week to the New Hampshire State Democratic Party Conventions, RAW STORY has learned.

Due to its early primary, the support of New Hampshire Democrats is considered key to securing the party nomination for President.

Feingold will kick-off the convention by addressing an opening breakfast on June 3. Feingold will take questions from the audience following the speech.

"I look forward to listening to what Democrats in both states have to say about the major issues facing our country," Feingold said in a release. "And how we can move forward together toward a Democratic victory at all levels this November."

Feingold also plans to address the Maine State Democratic Convention the same week.

3. I wished I could be there
to hear him speak... I really think he has what it takes to be President... His education is so impressive, he is very intelligent and he respects the constitution.. I would be happy to see him in either position, either President of VP, as long as he is in the WH, I would be happy... He is an excellent politician....

4. I'm a delegate at the Maine Convention...
I'm hoping I'll be able to video tape it, or at least take lots of photos.
