Bush regime is sending more soldiers to Iraq, they predict more war
Edited on Tue May-30-06 05:32 PM by bigtree
They promised the 'elections' would get our troops home. They LIED!

They promised the soldiers could come home when their junta chose a leader. They LIED!

There is no real government there to defend. There's only a protected pack of exiles with their hands all over Iraq's resources. Thieves protected by our military. Murderers killing their rivals with our weapons.

Our soldiers are still killing Iraqis; not just in the reported massacre, but in the countless raids on 'insurgents' where the thousands massacred by our troops are labeled 'enemy combatants' without proof or accountability.

That's what our soldiers are doing in Iraq. There's no more reconstruction money. No images are left of soldiers building schools, or repairing bombed out power facilities. Our soldiers are there to kill Iraqis.

Never mind explaining to me about defending the government there. If that's the only thing we're good for then we deserve to be chased out. Explain to me how 'getting control' of towns like Ramadi or Samarra is in the interest of the American people.

There's little mention of the Iraqi people these days from the WH. Why are our soldiers still being made to kill Iraqis? Who the hell is an insurgent? How can we be more concerned with the future of Iraq than the ones we are suppressing and killing with our raids and junta-directed reprisals?

The bastards won't bring the troops home on their own.

Those generals won't tell them to bring the troops home. They still think they can 'win' there if they throw enough bodies on the pile. Goddamn amazing to have the WH call them in for advice. Frightening, really.

Congress has to end this now. How many more tragedies before they're done playing army? How many more lives will they sacrifice for their political positions?

1. This move is all about Iran, not Iraq.

4. Meaning, I think, that if they can "condition" a need for more troops
to enlarge the force for a potential conflict with Iraq...they'll do it. IMO.

2. They promised nothing. No "timetable". And the citizens have done
nothing about it. Most of the citizens are afraid if they speak up about it some bad arabs will blow up the world trade center again.
