Veterans of waging peace we need you.
You who stopped a war before.
Teach us.
Push us to feats of bravery and truth.
Show us where to stand so we'll be seen.
Paint our signs for us with magic words of justice
March with us if you are able.
In spirit and support if not.
We need to rally the rich that believe
Money is power. Money can buy the media. Money can get us heard.
Hopefully votes will get us heard
November 2006 is my line in the sand.
If things haven't changed after that?
I aim to misbehave.
No peace without justice.
Feed us your fire and your wisdom and we will pay it forward.

1. very, very nice.
wow. that speaks to me.

what sucks is that they were young when they stopped vietnam, so if the pattern follows then the young people today should be the ones rising up to stop this war. I don't think that will happen without threat of a draft. Since they've established the poverty draft and the backdoor draft, I don't know what can motivate alot of kids.

Anyway, nice work!

3. two replies....
....I like it....I really think it comes down to what I like to call the 'Popeye Effect'.....

....you go through life doing your daily thing, not really looking outside of your daily rut, when you start to notice things....things out of place, things not quite right....

....you try to ignore these out-of-wack things but you can't, it continues to build and build until finely oneday you shout,'That's all I can stands, I can't stands no more...'

....and then if you're anything like me, you'll go and take a nap....
