I do believe there is a culture war going on in this country...right now! During the course of my 'aruond the block' trips through this lifetime, I've chosen to reject religion as part of my day to day life. Never really felt anything missing. The religious have just 'been there', nothing obnoxious, intrusive nor imposing on me and my life style. Therefore they and I have just lived in our separate corners, doing things our way and co-existing in peace.
Since 2000 I have felt entirely different, and as each day has passed and is passing, feeling more and more threatened by this VIOLENT, INTOLERANT, BIGGOTED AMD DANGEROUS group of thugs (as I now call them)
I should be old and smart enough to have recognized they were just waiting for their 'anti-Christ' to arrive in office, so they could rear their evil little heads and become the most dangerous organization on this planet.
I know a Christian, these people are not Christians! And, I am no longer the passive fool that has quietly led her life in peaceful co-existence with these 'nuts'. There's a war going on and it's no less a threat than what we hear about Muslims; wanting everyone to believe as they do..(or die). Just my ranting...nevertheless strong convictions...

1. The danger is fundamentalism |

which I have come to be a code word for fanatics. These people forget totally the teachings of their prophets and base their lives upon hatred. It is indeed very sad and scary.
