Daughter alive in bizarre case of mistaken identity
One family's daughter, thought to have been killed, is alive, but another family's daughter....

Cerak alive in bizarre case of mistaken identity

Grand Rapids, Michigan - After grieving the death of their 18-year-old daughter Whitney E. Cerak for more than a month, Newell and Colleen Cerak - who believed their daughter had been killed in an April 27 crash in Indiana - learned she is actually alive in a case of mistaken identity.

2. How heartbreaking, for everyone !
I can't imagine ... just starting to come to terms with your child's death, only to find out they're still alive .... and on the other hand, to think your child is alive and in recovery, only to find out it was a mistake and she's actually gone from you.

:( Awful.

3. How horrible for the one family.
How interesting that the two women looked so much alike.

4. Wow, so the parents of girl who died couldn't even tell the difference.
She was probably banged up and bandaged pretty bad, but still... wow. Sitting right at the bedside, they believed she was their daughter until she came out of the coma and started to talk.

Makes me think of the Double vie de Véronique, kinda.

Very very sad.

6. Do not look alike? Who are you kidding? They could easily pass
for sisters.
