AS HADITHA SINKS IN "MOTHER" ON THE WALL BY PINK FLOYD FITS. GRAPHICS!!!
Edited on Wed May-31-06 05:50 PM by Jeffersons Ghost
As if it is meant to be, the horrors at Haditha are finally gaining publicity, just as we arrive at my 5th humble attept to graphically bring the genius of Pink Floyd to life in modern terms.

If you'll pardon the picture-pun, here is background on where we are in the graphic study of perhaps the greatest musicians that ever lived.

The Wall

"okay children, everyone learn to duck and cover. Remember, your government is here to help you and never wants to scare children into funding a milatary industrial machine."

Mother

(Waters) 5:32

Mother do you think they'll drop the bomb?

Mother do you think they'll like this song?

Mother do you think they'll try to break my balls?

Mother should I build the wall?

Mother should I run for president?

Mother should I trust the government?

Mother will they put me in the firing line?

Mother am I really dying?

Hush now baby, baby, dont you cry.

Mother's gonna make all your nightmares come true.

Mother's gonna put all her fears into you.

Mother's gonna keep you right here under her wing.

She wont let you fly, but she might let you sing.

Mama will keep baby cozy and warm.

http://www.thewe.cc/thewei/&/&/images4/2005_war_photos_january_3/woman_carries_child.jpe
Ooooh baby ooooh baby oooooh baby,

Of course mama'll help to build the wall.

Mother do you think she's good enough -- to me?

Mother do you think she's dangerous -- to me?

Mother will she tear your little boy apart?

Mother will she break my heart?

Hush now baby, baby dont you cry.

Mama's gonna check out all your girlfriends for you.

Mama wont let anyone dirty get through.

Mama's gonna wait up until you get in.

Mama will always find out where you've been.

Mama's gonna keep baby healthy and clean.

Ooooh baby oooh baby oooh baby,

You'll always be baby to me.

Mother, did it need to be so high?

18. I agree, Chet and David helped end Nam
now all we have is the web and pictures that the government makes disappear so fast I can barely find decent material.

8. "Pink Floyds Back Catalogue"
Sweetness before the tragedy.

I feel so bad for those who had the misfortune to be involved in dick cheney's, and his puppet george bush, War on Iraq.

You're right, Jeffersons Ghost, Pink Floyd's WALL Fits!

19. If the pictures come out maybe this song
THE BRAVERY OF BEING OUT OF RANGE
By Roger Waters

You have a natural tendency
To squeeze off a shot
You're good fun at parties
You wear the right masks
You're old but you still like a laugh in the locker room
You can't abide change
You're at home on the range
You opened the suitcase
Behind the old workings
To show off the magnum
You deafened the canyon
A comfort, a friend
Only upstaged in the end By the Uzi machine gun
Does the recoil remind you
Remind you of sex
Old man what the hell you gonna kill next
Old timer, who you gonna kill next
I looked over Jordan and what did I see
Saw a U.S. Marine in a pile of debris
I swam in your pools
And lay under your palm trees
I looked in the eyes of the Indian
Who lay on the Federal Building steps
And through the range finder over the hill
I saw the front line boys popping their pills
Sick of the mess they find on their desert stage
And the bravery of being out of range
Yeah the question is vexed
Old man what the hell you gonna kill next
Old timer who you gonna kill next
Hey bartender over here
Two more shots and two more beers
Sir, turn up the TV sound
The war has started on the ground
Just love those laser guided bombs
They're really great for righting wrongs
You hit the target and win the game From bars 3,000 miles away
3,000 miles away
We play the game
With the bravery of being out of range
We zap and maim
With the bravery of being out of range
We strafe the train
With the bravery of being out of range
We gain terrain
With the bravery of being out of range
We play the game
With the bravery of being out of range

----------------------------------------------------

A friend told about this song. We were talking about this yesterday. Never heard it downloaded it(legally) Great song.

but it was irresistible with the way the song opens.
