I suppose they got my info as well I served in the 1980's.
Its valuable information that an enemy could use. Prior to an invasion of some sort its good to know who has combat skills and could resist. Part of any invasion strategy is to kill all veterans.

al qa-eda and their allies have been watching this one guy because they knew that he was taking home that laptop computer (god told them he was) and when the time was ripe -- he had gone to the fridge to get a 'tab' or 'diet rite cola' -- they leaped into his room, stole the laptop computer and were gone.
I can understand why the freak republikkaners would be scared. So many of them served in the army (yeah right -- most who joined probably got sent to 'Fit Co' at basic so they quit), in key positions -- they were constantly placed on Sgt. Major's detail by their companies -- that they would naturally be right up there with the homeless, hermits and retired beach-combers as targets for terrorists.
