Public Service Announcement The last day you can donate to Katrina Victims

through Randi Rhodes' "Change for Change" program is TOMORROW, June 1.. If you aren't familiar with her program... she contacted Habitat for Humanity and set up a special Randi Rhodes Habitat fund, "Change for Change" and ALL donations you give to HER fund go directly to Katrina Victims. Habitat will be building new houses for the victims. If you donate to just Habitat for Humanity, the money goes to the 'General' fund and goes wherever Habitat wants to send it. 3. The fund was set up for ONLY several months. Tomorrow is the last day.

It was done especially for Randi and I guess she or they (Habitat) felt it needed a time limit? It was very generous of them to do this because it does take fund donations from their General fund. They may have put a time limit on it for that reason?

Now, they start building.

Hell, today I finally got some work done on my roof!!! I still sleep in a, albeit slightly now, moldy house! ... and there are others who are way worse off than I.
