The only motions anybody is going to go through in the leadup to the Iran War will be back room statements made to the nuclear club members.

Nothing more.

It will come as a complete surprise and will be the ultimate Shock and Awe.

4. Yup
That's the only way to get the support they need. They've already built the argument based upon the Iraq War where they've said they can understand disagreeing with why they went in but we're there now and we can't dwell on how we got there.

8. Too true. One of the most visible aspects of the Bush clan
has always been that they rely on others to do all their work, including all the dirty work.

9. The servants are in revolt. Particularly the CIA and DIA

An out-of-the-blue preemptive strike against Iran would be a very tough sell to the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

They might have gone along with it in 2003, but not now.

BushCo can't do this just by ordering it. The system is designed to prevent that. I know, it failed before. That's exactly why I think it won't happen again, so soon, so close to ground zero of the last miserable failure.

6. I say absolutely without a doubt.
I don't know how many of you believe in the PNAC agenda but Iran is next on the list and it's going to happen just as everything else they wanted and needed to happen has. Rebuilding America's Defenses is the "Mein Kampf" of this administration.

13. Half of the PNAC Board are under FBI investigation.
The other half have fled to Israel. The neocons don't run Washington anymore. They're running away from it. B-)

Do you want Pakistan to get into this, too?

14. Internal Affairs is on their case.
Bad Cop is this far from having his gun and badge taken away. Badder Cop is in central booking being processed. His partner, Baddest, has fled the country.

By Baddest Cop, I was referring to Naor Gilon, former Mossad Chief of Station in Washington, who fled after the FBI busted Larry Franklin.

That's the other side of the Plame prosecution. The Mossad-OSP pipeline. Read the indictment in the Larry Franklin case. Particularly, see pp. 23-24, para. 6 - http://www.physics911.net/franklinpdf2.pdf

Franklin pleaded guilty to charges that he had been, among other things, salting Pentagon files with phoney IRAN WMD data. His source for that, according to the charging papers, was the Mossad Chief of Station at the Israeli Embassy in DC.. Mr. Gilon (FO-3 in the indictment) fled the country shortly after the FBI investigation of the OSP-AIPAC case was leaked. See, http://www.dailykos.com/admin/story/2005/6/15/12176/923 ...

Seems the Yellow Cake foregeries are just another facet of the disinformation work that Mr. Ledeen and Mr. Ghorbanifar have been carrying out on behalf of their client.

By the way, Judy Miller was also referenced in the Franklin indictment as a Naor confidant about Iran's purported WMD program.

11. Already, I think they have helped elect the current President of
Iran, by their refusal to continue the dialogue with Khatami, by the fact that Smirky's extremism is a catalyst for other extremism (you know, the "Axis of Evil" thing) and I also think that there was CIA action to get rid of Khatami, and rejoicing at the election of Ahmedinajad (or whatever his name is).

Remember how they tried to get him slated as one of the people who kidnapped the hostages at the time of Reagan's election? I think they like the fact that his stupid extremism is serving their purpose just fine. Just like Bin Laden's come to think of it...

I think Israel will hit Iran just like they did to Iraq two and half decades ago. That one was out of the blue.

17. King Dumbass** will ask Mr. Cheney, "Didn't we just attack them?"
and Cheney will have to count to ten, take a deep breath, and explain to the leader of the free world that, no, we just got through attacking Iraq, with a Q.
