So Lindsey Graham said that every time someone crosses
Edited on Fri Jan-13-06 06:59 PM by senseandsensibility
the Clintons they turn up dead? That's what a caller to Ed Shultz claimed today. Is it true? Supposedly he said this near the time of the impeachment, and I do remember he was a shameless partisan hack at that time. I was addicted to CNN and watched it for several hours a day.

So Lindsey can call people murderers and some tough, fair questioning by the other side is out of bounds? Sounds like repuke logic and justice to me. That is, if it's true. Can anyone verify this?

1. Found it
On Fox News, 1/31/99

"Why did Monica Lewinsky say, when she was discussing this matter with Miss Tripp, that the least of my concerns is about whether or not I get a good job--all the people around these folks, some of them wind up dead? She expressed a concern that the folks who cross the White House have bad things happen to ’em. I don’t think she was concerned about her physical safety totally, I don’t know. But she verbalized a feeling, an impression that if you cross these people, bad things happen to you..."

6. But Lindsey was quoting Lewisnsky
supposedly, right? He was throwing it out there to insinuate that people were murdered by the Clintons. And he dares to call the Dems in the hearings undignified or out of bounds?

Just like the rest of them. All hypocrites in the republican party. If Alito's wife can't handle the truth she can leave the fucking room. It isn't her job interview. This man wants to take away everything I hold dear from reproductive rights to attending college to get a job. Alito wants to take that away from me so she can fuck off and so can Graham.

5. Whenever the Republicans pull this crap
they are only projecting their own advocated behavior upon others. Tell them its time to step up to the plate and take some personal responsibility - they aren't in middle school any longer.

12. So, Lindsay was one of Alito's coaches...
...was Alito's wife present at the coaching sessions?

Because here's the thing: Lindsay is the one who said the thing that made Mrs. Alito cry. If he was the coach, and all three were present for coaching, well that is a perfect opportunity to set up the staged incident... and this of course shows why it *should* be considered a conflict of interest, and unethical, for a sitting Senator, on the Judiciary Committee, to be part of the coaching for a candidate who the Senator will be questioning.

9. I'm far from a Lindsey Graham fan, and I watch the impeachment
hearing everyday. Graham said many nasty things, but I never heard him say anything like Clinton taking care of one that crossed em.

It could be true but I doubt it!

11. Look At EarlG's Quote in Post #1
Or does he need to draw a map for ya?

Graham is a real sneaky bastard. Plays the "good old boy" most the time. Seems reasonable, likeable...ah sucks type. Then when you aren't looking he slips in it from behind with a broomstick.

He's from the Trent Lott school of bullshittery...and taking it to a new level.

Like I said I listened to all the hearings goddammit and never heard the asshole say anything like that. Not saying he didn't.

Graham made these statements on FAUX News, which I never watch.

You don't have to tell me how sneaky Graham is, I know!
