Do we need to take the Alito filibuster into our own hands...
...by contacting each and every Democratic senator before the caucus next Wednesday, and let them know a failure to filibuster will result in our working for a primary challenger (and, if necessary, a third-party candidate in the general election) the next time they come up for a vote?

In other words, let them know that previously-"safe" Democratic votes won't be there should they refuse to stand up and fight on this one?

:spank:

9. Filibuster Alito + Demand Impeachment OR face a primary opponent who WILL
Edited on Sat Jan-14-06 04:16 PM by pat_k
Yes!!! Keep it simple:

Stand and fight with EVERYTHING you've got OR face a primary opponent who WILL.

And, for starters, that means:

  • Filibuster Alito
Raise Hell if they "go nuclear."
Invoke rule 21 to shut down their abuse of power.
The USA is NOT a Dictatorship! For Alito, it's an open question.
    STOP HIM!

  • Demand Impeachment of Bush and Cheney.
Don't sit on your hands "looking into" their criminal spying. There are so many crimes to chose from, number 1 is terrorizing the American people (300 million of us) with the most colassal bomb threat in history (mushroom clouds in 45 minutes).
