Ralph Reed - What a friggin' tool.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ralph_E._Reed,_Jr.

Criticized the movie 'Gandhi' for it's favorable portrayal of Gandhi? Wrote an article about it and was fired for plagiarism? What a little weeny. What kind of jack off criticizes Gandhi? Reed reminds me of the pathetic little weakling that used to trail around behind the bullies in the school yard. After the bullies had pummeled some kid and the victim was down on the ground Reed would come up and kick them in the stomach and scurry off with a maniacal laugh. What a pathetic wretch of a human being this Ralph Reed.

2. This fellow's supposed to be a Christian, right?
And Jesus is called the Prince of Peace. What in the world would make him have a problem with Gandhi, who based his philosophy, in part, on the teachings of Jesus?

Sad what a convoluted version of Christianity is out and about any more.

7. and he is so purty!
Every single time I see that guy my stomach gets upset. Even from the earliest times of the Xtian coalition, I found him totally unnerving and weird.
Now we know he is nothing but a hypocrite and a thief.

3. He's in the closet, IMHO
Not that there's anything wrong with being gay at all. It's the hypocrisy I speak of.

10. He sure is.
He mutated out of the same fetid puddle as Abramoff, Norquist and a whole generation of College Republicans. Here's one observation on that:

5. I like this part of the description best
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abramoff-Reed_Indian_Gambling_Scandal
<snippies>
The Jack Abramoff lobbying and corruption scandal is a United States political scandal relating to the work performed by political lobbyists Jack Abramoff, Ralph E. Reed, Jr., Grover Norquist and Michael Scanlon on behalf of Indian casino gambling interests. The lobbyists are accused of orchestrating lobbying against their own clients in order to force them to pay for lobbying services.

In the course of the scheme, the lobbyists are accused of illegally giving gifts and making campaign donations to legislators in return for votes or support of legislation. Politicians implicated include Tom DeLay, Conrad Burns, Tom Harkin and Bob Ney. Repercussions of the investigation caused DeLay to decline to reseek his former position as House leader.

In addition to his involvement in the Indian Gambling scandal, Abramoff is under investigation by a grand jury in Guam over possibly illegal contract payments and money laundering and was indicted on August 11, 2005 by a third grand jury in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for a $23 million bank fraud arising out of the purchase of the SunCruz Casinos boat company. Abramoff is also a 'person of interest' in the murder investigation of Konstantinos Boulis, the original owner of SunCruz.

11. Can Anyone Tell Me What Harkin's
involvement was? I know he is listed as receiving contributions, but it was my understanding, he only worked with Iowa tribes and wasn't involved in the big deal.

12. Harkin pays tribe for his use of skybox
Edited on Sat Jan-14-06 11:45 AM by DainBramaged

Sen. Tom Harkin failed to account properly for two fundraisers he held in lobbyist Jack Abramoff’s skybox at Washington’s MCI Center in 2002 and 2003, according to filings with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and a spokeswoman for the Iowa Democrat.
