5. Kicked and recommended. This news has ruined my morning |
|
I'm really tired of being sad. I'm really tired of all the blood on my hands. The numbers are bad enough, two thousand US troops, tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians, hundreds dead in terror bombings every week, 17 innocent Pakistanis (at least) in a village killed by US bombers over bad intelligence...
None of this needed to happen. This is heartbreaking. And now this reporter and Riverbend go out and remind me that all these dead people were human beings, like Alin, with feelings and aspirations, people who liked to listen to music and talk with friends when they had the chance. And now they're dead. And my tax dollars helped to pay for it.
