Is it still worth it to call our senators?
I read yesterday that Durbin said that EVERYTHING is still on the table, but the thread didn't give a source. I asked, but no one gave me one.

When and where did Durbin say this? Is it still worth it to e-mail, call, fax, etc.? I'm happy to do so, but I'd like a little more info if someone has it. Thanks.

3. Okay, I've called her once
She's my senator. I'll call again. Do you happen to know when Durbin made his remarks?

(Didn't hear it.)

2. Yes it is. Harry Reid knows how to play the game.
Email your Senator and tell them to filibuster.

5. ALWAYS worth it to call our senators!
Democracy is NOT a spectator sport. If they don't hear from us, they are gonna listen to those they do hear from and assume we either agree or don't care.

Let them hear from you often. Let them know you are paying attention.

6. Not Bill Nelson, I'll just get the same form email and then in 2 weeks
I'll get one through snail mail. I'm thinking I'll be picketing his office in the near future. I've had it.

9. Ask Nelson anyway. Then if he votes to break a filibuster
he will at least know why you are picketing.

12. funny - Ginny Browne-Waite's robo-email assistant
is SO sick of having to respond to me too. I dislike that woman's politics so much. I wish I had a different Rep. But Nelson makes sense on rare occasions - and is better than Martinez.

14. I can't remember who said it
but some senator said that it was up to us to make the noise and than they'll go through. Does anybody know who said that?

15. Still wondering exactly what Durbin said
Does anyone have a link? Anyone? I think that if the average DUer knew for a fact that the Dems were still considering filibuster, we'd get more response.
