who would instantly point out that "there's no proof" as soon as the words hit the airways. The Dems had to do that all by themselves.

I don't know why. The only thing I've ever heard that made some sense was that the Pubs have been accusing the media of being liberals for sooo long, they're going out of their way to prove that wrong.

To the Swift Boat types, lying to get what they want is a reflex--like breathing.

I'm certainly not saying Democratic strategists are 100% honest and perfect but I think their lying tends to be more in terms of obfuscasion or parsing rather than telling bald-faced, balls-out, in-your-face lies.

9. One problem

Wading through all the documentation is a headache, especially if you don't understand military techie talk and the way the personnel system used to function. The thing gets even worse because the ANG system operated to a degree differently than the regular.

Unless you worked in the system during that period, much of the documentation reads like Sanskrit. Even if you have (she holds up paw), it was a long time ago, etc; much has faded from memory. Further, the system has done a hundred and eighty over the years, so even someone who knows the current one will be lost dealing with old.

The MSM hasn't a clue; it can't even get ranks and grades correct, let alone the minutia. And the devil is in the details here.

The one thing that does p.o me is that no one has ever called Smirky on the flight status. That was a big dereliction cake with CYA frosting.
