Taking bets on Hillary and Iran
Who wants to bet Hillary moves right of the BUSCH ADMIN on Iran? Just seems like something she would do in my opinion. Any bets?

1. I could see that too

Maybe the neo-con think tanks will say nice things about her if she does that, but rank and file conservatives will not be impressed. They still think she is Satan's mistress.

Meanwhile, she will alientate Democratic oprimary voters beyond repair. She seems to be pulling the general election cart before the primary horse.

2. It would be a startling move for her at this point.
I'm not quarreling with your prediction, because I don't think I know much about Senator Clinton's foreign policy notions right now.

But I hope she does not do it. Our party needs to oppose this idiot's war in great numbers.

I will offer one thought, though. If Senator Clinton moves to the right of Bush on Iran, Al Gore is more likely to enter the primaries and that would likely tear her campaign to tiny shreds.

4. When she went right with Bush on threatening Syria

she lost my vote. I don't doubt she will stick her finger in the air and follow the politics of fear rather than rationality.

13. What would the point be in Hillary taking a crazy position like that?
She's a smart woman, she's not going to jump out of the political window by taking some crazy position on Iran.

I think that it is...Jaysus, you Hillary bashers, I don't know...:eyes:

14. Hillary will stay in the Senate...she will, you just watch...she's not
Going to be in the 2008 Primaries...the only people who say that she will be in the 2008 Primaries are the GOP talking heads and Right-Wing pundits.
