Freeper didn't like it when I called him a traitor!
I debate alot of Freepers on another board I visit and one of them started bashing Cindy Sheehan, calling her a traitor and all this garbage. So I said,

"It pro-war people like you who are the traitors".

Well apparently he didn't like that because then he said this:

"Really? Do I constantly criticize the U.S.? Do I give aid and comfort to the enemy.
Just how am I a "traitor?" Please explain your ridiculous and offensive remark. (BTW, read the message board rules... no personal attacks on members.)"

Then I responded:

"By supporting this war with total disregard for life of the troops, makes pro-war folks traitors. It wasn't an attack, it's how I see it."

After I said that, he got quiet. It felt good to hand some of the garbage back to them and call them out for what they really are.

You should've thrown in liar and coward for good measure.

BTW, anyone who is pro-war, when that war is demonstrably a profitmaker for a privileged few at the expense of an already debt-plagued economy, is definitely anti-American.

3. I called one a REMF
and got away with it, after he questioned my service... oh he went off....

Yep so my service was not under US Flag, it was service... nor does that yahoo realize exactly how much some of what I did affected the security of this country.

It felt good... and for any who is military, you KNOW how low I got by calling him that. Oh was he hysterial since I questioned his service... well he TELLS tall takes of his days in combat. I know a few combat vets... none tell tall tales or glorify war. (Hell I am one, but that is another story altogether... but the piss and vinegar goes right out of you the first fire fight... he still sounds like a kid out of boot)

4. Explain to me please
What exactly is "aid and comfort" to the enemy? My understanding of that phrase is supporting the enemy with money, food, safe haven, etc. etc. How does protesting the war give the "enemy" aid and comfort? This is a ridiculous statement to make, in my opinion. And my brain boils every time I hear Bush make that statement. Why doesn't someone call the freepers on that bit of silliness?

5. All I can figure from what they say is
by protesting the war, "The Enemy (TE)" soon realizes that if they kill enough of our people, we will force congress (or someone) to call it off and leave. Therefor, we are aiding and giving comfort to TE by asking the military to leave so TE can then do what they want. Which is run their own country their own way. Now, who is TE? That is my question.

8. even the pResisdent says that war-dissenters do harm to our
country, so he is coming close to saying the same thing.

Welcome to DU, colorado thinker!

BTW, he will say it in even stronger terms when we stand against the next war that is in our near future - Iran.

15. It's like what Brad Ellsworth, challenging Hostettler in Ind. 8th district
was saying tonight. That he decided he was a Democrat when as deputy sheriff the Democrats voted them bullet-proof vests while all of the Republicans voted against it.
