NSA used WMD team on protest
Edited on Sun Jan-15-06 03:16 AM by Raydawg1234
The National Security Agency has been spying on a Baltimore anti-war group, according to documents released during litigation, going so far as to document the inflating of protesters' balloons, and intended to deploy units trained to detect weapons of mass destruction, RAW STORY has learned.

According to the documents, the Pledge of Resistance-Baltimore, a Quaker-linked peace group, has been monitored by the NSA working with the Baltimore Intelligence Unit of the Baltimore City Police Department.

Guess we have our own secret police now, an American KGB

3. Do Quakers carry WMDs to protests?
Maybe hidden in their balloons? Do they write secret encoded messages to Al Qaeda on their signs?

Edited on Sun Jan-15-06 06:55 AM by bananas
A lot of the criminals are from the reagan/bush admin of the 80's
Quakers were a major pain in the ass to them

on edit: quakers are particularly articulate in their anti-war opposotion,
and were a persuasive factor in the pentagon recognizing conscientious objector status during WWII.

4. Oh, they are ONTO the Quakers.
All that peace stuff, and doing what Jesus said.

Why, it's UnAmerican to oppose war! Even bad ones.

Maybe if these guys would start working on protecting America, instead of spying on citizens who disagree with the insane Bush administration policies, we would to be a safer place.

They certainly dropped the ball before 9/11, and I don't recall any Quakers involved in that one. Of course, there weren't any Iraqis, either, but that didn't stop Bush from attacking them.

Our government is in the hands of a group of fascists who do not treasure or respect American Ideals. You could pluck them up and stick them in North Korea, and they'd fit just fine with Little Kim.

6. And brush said he was only spying on Americans
to protect us. I guess he needs to protect us from balloons and Quakers.
