1. It's the latest in the run-up to the Iran war...
No, I didn't leave out the "q".

2. You didn't need to clarify, I knew exactly what you meant.
I only discovered the hack-job because I was on another forum where someone was looking for a magnetic peace sign for their car and some freeper type started talking about how he live next to Fort Campbell, KY and he'd go over there and ask some soldiers if they sold them in the PX. I was going to link him to IVAW and tell him to ask those soldiers, but it had been hacked.

5. Good catch...
BTW... I would also suggest asking said Freep how much of the money
for those Chinese made magnets goes to the troops. It makes them uncomfortable.

6. Here is his original post and my reply

Maybe I'll be lucky and run into some fellows who've just returned from Iraq or Afhganistan.

My reply:

I'll help you out . . . ask these guys:

http://www.vaiw.org/vet/index.php

or how about these people . . .

http://www.gsfp.org/

or maybe even:

http://www.mfso.org/

I'd refer you to Iraq Vets Against The War as well, but it would appear that someone who opposes their right to voice their opinion has hacked their site . . . http://www.ivaw.net/

I guess those "freedoms" that they're fighting for aren't applicable to them eh?

You are, of course, entitled to your opinion, but to pretend that all military personnel are enthusiastically in support of war is either ill-informed or intentionally blind.

BTW, most recent polls show that 60% of Americans consider that little adventure in the desert to be a mistake.

Last week after cringing every time I heard "broke the U.N. seals", because it's
absolute horse apples. Then hearing * say "Send it to the Kangaroo Boltonized Security Council"...

Confirmed it, the Rovian plan to keep the Congress in 2006 is to play the drums of war
as loud as possible... Just like 2002! (Look at where it got the U.S.)

It'd be nice if they'd learn a few new tricks.

Expect to see any opposition to their agenda squelched... Just as that site
was "hacked".

3. He went to the trouble of hacking it, and didn't even have anything to say
No clever messages or even colorful language.

Just a blank page that says, "Defaced by American hacker."

What a stupid script-kiddie.

4. I'm wondering if there was something else put there originally
by the "hacker" and the hosts of the site put that up as a holder until they can re-load from backups.

They may have put that up to let everyone know that they know the IP of whoever hacked it and it was a US IP address.

Just a thought.
