New Prescription Plan for Seniors - My Pharmacist is going Nuts |
|
He has a lot of customers from nearby senior housing who walk over to get their prescriptions. After the changeover, they're finding out that they have to pick up their presciptions from a Walgreens or Walmarts 20 miles away! These are people he's known for his entire life! Some of them don't have any idea what happened to their prescription coverage the first of the year. Two weeks in and the great privatization of health care costs is a disaster for seniors.
Of course, the private health plan we're on is no great shakes, either. They managed to lose my daughter since the first of the year. He gave me about $500 of medication and told me to come back Monday to get the co-pay straightened out. Try doing that at Walmarts!

1. That was the plan, wrap the old croaks up in so much red tape and |
|
rules that they'd either drop dead, give up, or pay for the meds themselves.
And I'm not being demeaning when I use the term 'old croaks' because I'm gonna be one in a few years myself. Plus, that's what the government wants these people to do.

3. That's what I told my pharmacist. |

It's bush's ultimate plan for cutting health care costs - eliminate the elderly.
