We have it right here, in the starkest terms, from the men who would be our leaders. Relationship is risk. You might have to compromise, or worse yet, acknowledge error. Actually, it takes real guts to put down the gun and forswear the bomb. It means you believe in your ideals of truth, justice, freedom and liberty so much that you'll take the chance that your adversary will kill you. Any two-bit punk can pull a trigger or push a button and drop a bomb. It takes real convictions, real courage to say to your adversary that you will adhere to your ideals even to death.
