For any lurking Republicans a request |
|
Could you name one thing Bush* has done to try and Unite America? If you remember he ran as a "Uniter" and I am wondering IYO what has he done to actually do that? Has he reached out to Democrats on any issue at all and do you think he should or should he just push for a complete right wing agenda?

1. LOL! I was watching a special on the American Presidency |
|
They went over most of the Presidents up to the current and listed their pros and cons. The only thing they could think of for Bush was that he doesn't have booksmarts but "emotional intelligence" as someone who beleives in emotional intelligence and supposedly has quite a bit, I'd have to say that they should go back to the fishing pond!

4. Just curious...how would you define emotional intelligence? |
|
I am very emotional, but I'm never sure what to do with my emotions, so I'm wondering if I have a room temperature (or below) EQ.

5. Here is a great book on the matter |
|
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0553378589/qid=1137342805/sr=8-3/ref=pd_bbs_3/002-6307831-5648035?n=507846&s=books&v=glanceBasically, as I recall it describes the intelligence to interact and to read people through the use of superior social and interaction skills. As opposed to "book smart" this is more of a "people smart". Sounds like Bush doesn't it? :sarcasm:

He's got a low IQ and a low EQ...what a loser. It's kind of nice to know the President of the United States is a bigger loser than I am. :D

3. Bush's Idea Of "Being A Uniter" |
|
means that everyone who disagrees with him must be shut up, stifled, impugned, laughed at, discredited, or completely ruined. THAT is how HE unites. By bully tactics. Well, I, for one, will not be cowed into agreeing with this crappy Administration on ANYTHING. Call me un-American and un-patriotic all you want, I will continue to exercise my right to dissent, until they come to collect me for Gitmo. Because that is where all dissenters will eventually go. Just a matter of time. Bush has already begun to turn against not just foriegn enemies...but DOMESTIC "ENEMIES" as in...enemies of his own choosing. coincidentally enough, those who have earned the title "enemy" in Bush's eyes, are people who protest him or his policies, question his actions, or do anything to obstruct his agenda.
Look at what they did to Kerry...to Murtha...to Wilson...the list goes on and on and on....
