Santorum's flag burning session
So on flag day Santorum ordered a full flag burning session in "honor" of flag day. A republican pep rally if you will, which ended up looking more like a clan meeting!

Hubby is military so he had to attend this event that Santorum ordered but never showed up and instead sends a representative in his steed to set a flag on fire. Not unlike the republican party to drap the military all over themselves in the usual slimy manner.

My hubby took the photos for the event.

so it starts like this

The irony of it, I know!

50 some odd flags later, and a uncle Gus bbq fire, it looked like this

There ought be a slogan for that. "Republicans: setting the memory of the USA ablaze since 1961"

4. the flame didn't catch it
It's an illusion actually.. he's behind the fire they were raising the flag up.. so it only appears to be on fire.

8. WTF? Burning flags on the pole?
And how, exactly, does this show respect for the flag? I admit that I'm lost here
