Dana Milbank Accuses Democrats of Making "Wild" Accusations
Edited on Sun Jan-15-06 12:38 PM by Eric J in MN
against Samuel Alito regarding "Concerned Alumni of Princeton" and Vanguard.

This was on CNN's "Reliable Sources" this morning.

No one on the show explained that CAP is a sexist, homophobic group which Alito boasted about belonging to in 1985, and that Alito ruled in favor of Vanguard at at time when he had about $400,000 in mutual funds with them.

Can someone with TIVO pleae get me the exact quote of Dana Milbank?

The comment was near the end of the show.

I'd like to blog about this, but I feel I should the exact quote before putting this in a blog.

1. See, I knew he was problematic, ever since he wrote that
scandalous piece on Conyers' "forum" on DSM. People of his age don't really change.

5. I don't know if he is or isn't, but I do know that
if a Democrat nominated for the Supreme Court belonged to "Concerned Alumni of Princeton," the media would be attacking the nominee for it, instead of attacking people who bring it up.

7. Could a Democrat say....
I will respond to suggestions about Democrats' "accusations" about Alito ...IF...IF..you also address the blatant REPUBLICAN smear campaign against Rep. Murtha.

(The Democrats ONLY respond to the question at hand.....Republicans constantly try to manipulate the conversation to go their way......big difference.)
