Can anyone name one politician that openly participates here? |
or do they all choose to be locked away from their real constituents?

1. You should check out the Texas forum |
Look for David Van Os, who's running for Texas Attorney General. It's a start.

If I remember right, anyway. Or he thanked people here publicly - now I'm doubting my memory.

5. I don't know of any, but I suspect at least some staffers are here. |
I have to believe they get a lot of info from bloggs and DU is one of the biggest Dem. ones.

8. Wes Clark's son, Wes Jr. was/is a memebr. |
I haven't seen him post since the election though. Teresa Heinz Kerry's son was a member too. John Conyers has posted here before, but he's the only REAL politician I know of who has actually posted. :)

9. I would think that most politicians |
when they want to have an actual political discussion here, would prefer to post anonymously so as not to have an argument they're presenting (on a issue they may not have made up their mind on yet) assumed to be their official position. IMHO, anyway.

13. All politics is local |
Which is why Dean is busting his ass at the grassroots level. Check out this man's website and please rethink these generalizations.
