A second arrest warrant was filed Tuesday against a Greenwood Junior High teacher arrested in November in connection with allegations she had sex with one of her male students.



Authorities accuse Deanna Bobo, 38, of Greenwood of having sexual activity with another former student twice between Aug. 15, 2000, and May 31, 2001, according to the affidavit for an arrest warrant.

The new warrant is for two felony counts of violation of a minor in the first degree, which was the criminal act listed in the state statute at the time of the alleged crime.

Bobo, a special education teacher at Wells Junior High School, has been suspended with pay since Nov. 14. She previously pleaded not guilty in Sebastian County Circuit Court to first-degree sexual assault for allegedly having sex with a teenage male student earlier last year.
