14. From what I've heard, the Masons
Edited on Thu Jun-22-06 10:11 PM by DoYouEverWonder
have always welcomed blacks. It is not unusual to find a Masonic Lodge in a black neighborhood. Now Masonic blacks linked to terrorism, that's a new one?

16. my worry is that the media is going start painting all black muslims
as "Radicals", it's a another group for them to demonize.

17. I don't know how many
Muslim masons there are? I always thought Masons leaned more toward mainstream christianity, even though they have their own definition of what god is supposed to be.

10. I'm still not getting it.
Did they mistakenly raid a Masonic lodge thinking it was something else? A little help here...

15. I think the plan was to distract and strike fear in the hearts
about terrorists. But it sounds like they eff'ed up. So instead of looking like strong defenders, they look like clowns.

7. I would like to point out that while in some cultures it's
considered the height of rhetoric eloquence to structure discourse such that one's speech is a series of comments--vignettes or stories, possibly just events or facts--all relating back to a topic, and part of the story-teller's art is making the relationship obscure, intricate, and a delightful riddle for the listeners to discover ...

We do not share such a culture.

We typically value having the topic presented clearly, with comments explicitly tied back to the topic, at least in narrative prose.

Just a topic. Context is good, too.

A clue, for those tv-deprived among us.
