Just got back from a political debate - the biggest Douchebag EVER

To run in my riding was even more of a DB than I expected. He used to work for the local conservative until that member became one of only four Con MPs to vote pro gay marriage. So, the guy quit helping him and is running as an independent soley on the gay marriage issue, even though it has passed and is done.

But, he tried to break EVERYTHING down to gay marriage... it was so sad. His other unforgetable moment was when he tried to blame the homeless problem on rock music. And according to him Canada has to joinn missle defence, because RUSSIA is developing their own system... totally 1970s, man. A question rare in Canadian elections was brought up too...abortion. He refered to it as "Slicing and dicing babies." Then the crowd booes him, it was awesome.

Anyway, how can people be so fucking stupid?

Mostly because when Canada passed abortion laws we locked them the hell down.
Roe VS Wade is easier to attack because it was done rather slipshod and far too hurriedly (At least as far as I've read, and been told by law type buddies).
Abortion here is far less attackable so they generally don't bother
