1. He's talking down to Katrina; he needs to rethink that IF he'd ever
shut up!

2. Well, she's doing a great job herself of doing just that!
You know you've won a debate when the other side issues statements filled with words King's first response to her.

Something like, "it's just unintelligent " (can't remember what word he used but it was a completely dismissive ad hominem.

4. King claimed Sens. like Kerry "strongly supported the war"
:wtf:

Someone needs to mail Rep. King the following:

John Kerry's Statement on Iraq Before the War

5. I liked her comeback
in that she speaks for the Nation Magazine, not John Kerry.

That "Democrats strongly supported the war" is their "get out of jail free" card.

They use it when they are up against the wall.

11. Katrina was great. King is VILE.
Don't forget, he had the great quote on election day '04 - when Kerry was killing * in the exit polls - that Bush was gonna win...they were counting the votes.

Scarborough was really good in that segment.

WOW! Joe Scarborough sided with Katrina Van der Heuvel saying th at we need a free press and that the Bush administration was wrong to have done what they did. He said if Clinton and Janet Reno had pulled this, Republicans would be up in arms over abuse of power.

15. OMG - who was the Dem who just told the rethug to go sign up for the war?
I turned away to check on the college World Series and came back to one of the best beat downs I have seen of a Dem on a rethug.
