US soldiers invade and occupy homes to sniper civilians
very good news story from German TV that show how immoral our actions are

nutshell: our snipers occupy homes even with Iraqis living inside and just pick apart anyone they deem dangerous

have I told you how much I hate these snipers

this is straight out of the Israeli playbook, killing Palestinians while living in their homes

3. "sniper civilians"? Do you like you're propaganda raw or well done?
Edited on Tue Jun-27-06 11:46 AM by genie_weenie
Those 1st Cav guys were praying Gott mit Uns? Bullshit! Just because a german voice over says that's what's going on doesn't make it so. Do you always by propaganda out right??? A film by Ashwin Raman?

Oh yeah the voiceover says he's with the "elite sharpshooters" because snipers always bring along camera crews when placing themselves in their hides...

And why exactly do you equate US troops with Israelis? Could it be bias?

And how exactly do you know "our snipers pick apart anyone they deem dangerous"?

Are you ready to denounce and spit on all the troops when they return home from Iraq?

Woo-hoo Vietnam here we come!

7. How would you know what happened in Fallujah?
Edited on Tue Jun-27-06 12:01 PM by genie_weenie
And what's this "we" stuff? Every American is responsible for every other Americans actions?

Any chance you'll answer my other points or are you just going to cry atrocity?

4. This is actually pretty old -- I saw it when it came out because
my husband is German and gets satellite TV. The other reason why you can tell it's old, is the security situation wasn't as bad then as it is now. Look it's not nice, but that's war, and that's what happens during a counterinsurgency war, especially in an urban setting. That's why you avoid those kinds of wars like the plague. These soldiers are not very good; I've seen more professionalism in other doc films about our soldiers. It's hard to know how commonplace what they're doing is. But not all soldiers show the disregard for life as these guys do. I remember watching a doc film on Frontline, and that soldier was EXTREMELY distressed when they shot an innocent civilian by mistake during a night patrol. Just think John Kerry vs. John O'Neill. Some soldiers/sailors are better than others, AND dependent on the leadership of their commanding officers.

5. gee, that kind of reminds me of another time in history
where the Hessians became uninvited guests in homes of American colonists during the revolution.
