I absolutely love Lou Dobbs - He's at the voting machines................ |
|
.....again and is rightfully equating it to our very existence as a free republic. I love the guy. Hopefully America will pick this up now and run with it.

1. Yeah... say what you want about Lou but he's the only guy covering |
|
these issues. At least, the only guy on a major news network. He also has a broad audience that needs to hear this information.

2. Lou's on another bandwagon and he is right on |
|
DU his poll; Do you believe that e-voting machines should be disallowed until their integrity can be assured?

5. Ya know, if Lou can 'make hay' with the voting machines issues |
|
and bring as much attention to our voting rights as he did to immigration, I too will love him.

8. Guess what - I think some of the suggestions to cover voting............ |
|
.....machines came right from DU. I know I sent one impassioned plea to Lou Dobbs complete with links all the way back to 2000 and coming forward. So I'd like to think DU is a big reason he's focusing on this now.:applause:

7. Don't get to watch him much |
|
but as long as he's carring the cause I'm all for him. Still believe this is the number one topic Dems should be all over. All others don't mean a thing unless there is fair representation.

10. Dobbs only concerned because of foreign interests... |
|
Edited on Tue Jun-27-06 05:37 PM by Flubadubya
I posted this in another thread but it is really important to understand why this is only now an issue with Dobbs:
What got him stirred up was when he found out that a Venezuelan business was about to buy out one of the major e-voting machine businesses. I can't remember which one (OK, Sequoia). But, nonetheless, only when he thought "furners" would have their hands in our election process did he get upset... not when "only Republicans" owned them.

I am glad that he is covering the subject even now... I just don't think anyone ought to be getting all gah-gah and blubbery over Dobbs. You've got to scratch the surface and look at the real motivation, that's all.

13. I don't care why Lou Dobbs decided to take up this cause, I............... |
|
....and just thankfully he's doing it - because he's the only media personality concentrating on our voting machines.

but you may be right. I'll bet you he wasn't nearly as passionate about it then as he is now though.

14. We should all be e-blasting him, that it is about time. |
|
He is shocked, well it is about time Lou. Surprise you couldn't get any of the company reps to come defend their products. Why don't you ask Wally O'Dell, former CEO of Diebold and Bush Pioneer, why did he say at an Ohio fundraiser that he will "deliver" Ohio to President Bush in 2004.
This is what we have been screaming about since the 2000 election Lou. "Verified Fucking Voting".
He came on board when he found out that Venezeula was buying a good portion of Sequoia voting machine interests. But it has been snowballing out of his controll now. Good.

It's just that so many of us were emailing him with all kinds of facts since the 2000 election and it was until he caught wind that Venezuela would have an interest in our elections, did he get on board.
I am very glad that he is bringing this issue to the front and center.

Don the tin foil hats :tinfoilhat: and listen....
Is the media just now gettin' 'round to covering this story so the Republicans can challenge every loss they'll suffer this fall?
Just a thought. Run with it.

and push for paper ballots.

21. if Bush is so f'ing concerned about National Security, shouldn't we |
|
go back to paper ballots to keep those sneaky terrorists from hacking the vote? The administration must consider them capable of doing such a thing or there wouldn't be a need to snoop on telecommunications, electronic financial transactions, etc.? And you can bet your ass they're snooping on the 'net, too.
Isn't the vote even more sacred to the average American than the flag?? And that's worthy of a Constitutional amendment. Well, Georgie, ya gonna step up the plate or has all this terror stuff just been a crock?
