That is the lesson that we need to keep in mind. We can "reach out" to libertarians. That doesn't mean that we should turn into them. It means we keep believing what we believe in and try to get them to understand us better. Right?

I don't know about this "reaching out" stuff. What does it mean? Does it mean, be more like them or have them be more like us? Or does it mean neither of us change, but we just get to like each other better?

By the way, stereotypes make people wrong. Saying that evangelicals are all Republicans is a very limited view.
