not reading (although there could be a teleprompter) - head up high and very animated. Lots of hand gestures too. I've never seen Gore so full of emotion. :toast:

7. either way answer to 1 & 2
It is very easy to see that the man practiced this speech and it seems to flow
very well. I am sure there is a teleprompter but I can not see his eyes moving as if he is reading
it.

3. He doesn't appear to be reading anything. He appears to have it all
memorized.

This is the speech of the century.

10. Ha!
The president-elect actually knows how to utilize a telepromter effectively ...

... unlike 'Ultimate Leader' --"Ah, ah, duh, duh. Shucks."

11. I'm crying too. Boy did we ever miss out and get screwed.
He is so Presidental and I am upset about being reminded, once again, about how they stole his rightful position from out from under him. He truly is inspiring and amazing. We need to pressure him to run again and restore our country and save our democracy.

19. There was a teleprompter on either side of him, but
regardless, he did an outstanding job of showing passion for the subject.

23. I wouldn't be surprised
if he was doing it from memory but had a teleprompter there just in case. He's used to public speaking a lot now days because of his speaking about global warming and he taught briefly at MTSU. (Middle Tennessee State University).

25. I,ve sat in his living room and watched him speak like this at length
and trust me Sir, there is NO tele-prompter! When he said that he "took the initiative in the creation of the Internet", he was NOT exaggerating. He could stop a Congressman or Senator in the hall and speak like this on any topic that he was passionate about and never once have to refer to notes. Read the book, 'You Say You Want A Revolution' by former FCC chairman Reed E. Hundt for more on that. Al Gore is a true genius in every sense of the word.

YOU SAY YOU WANT A REVOLUTION
... offers important insights into the motives and personality of Al Gore and other ... In
You Say You Want a Revolution, he describes his stormy tenure at the FCC ...
