Gore versus Warner- yesterday I argued with someone after
posting a video of Mark Warner on This Week where, when asked about Bush spying, Warner, in my opinion, waffled and said he'd been busy being governor. I believe that was a weak non-response, when all I wanted was for a Democratic representative to clearly say "What Bush is doing is breaking the law"

I am enormously satisfied today after hearing Gore speak. He should have been president had not Bush stolen the election. But more than that, he is a representative of the "Speak Truth to Power" contingent that should be there.

I don't suppose he's running again any more for President. But I want the person who does run to speak up as clearly, concisely and forcefully as Gore has done today. It's like being in a drought and someone brings you a cool drink of water.

Warner does not, at this point, qualify.

2. I'm creating an MP3 audio file right now and am clipping some
favorite parts right now.

The MP3 will be the whole thing.

3. I saw Evan Baye on CNN with Trent Lott
and when asked about Iran, Evan takes a heavily Republican point of view, even Trent did a double take ...

6. G-d help us. Evan Bayh, Hill Clinton, Warner, Biden, Kerry...
ALL of them should be shunned by us. NO SUPPORT until they represent US...NOT THEIR corporate interests. I've had it with wishy-washy Washington politicians. They aren't representing me anymore. They're out to keep their freakin' jobs with the MEGA perks.

Russ Feingold is the only exception. Gore/Feingold ticket anyone?

4. IF ALL LIBERAL parties joined forces, we COULD DRAFT GORE.
He would do it FOR HIS COUNTRY. I say kick the rest to the curb. ALL the rest. Hill Clinton, Biden, Warner, Kerry, Edwards, and any other Dem "thinking" about running. We need to let them know they do NOT speak for us anymore. They have all failed us. Every last one of them.

ALL DUers SHOULD JOIN FORCES TO DRAFT, SUPPORT AND WORK FOR AL GORE!

I am a Wes Clark supporter, am STILL mad at Gore for not standing with the Black Caucus in 2000 to fight the FL. electoral votes and even "I" would get behind this man. HE SPEAKS FOR ALL OF US. THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE ALL BEEN BEGGING FOR. IMCPO...he's the man we need to run in '08.

I agree with you about Warner. If he can't say FLAT-OUT that spying on U.S. citizen's is WRONG, something is WRONG. He's the LAST DLCer I want for my prez.

80,000 DU members should join forces with other LIBERAL organizations and DRAFT GORE. NOW!:hi:

8. Gore a Democrat with majestical oratory. A president with convictions.
Warner was pathetically auditioning for Secretary of Commerce yesterday in a performance worthy of a rancid Raspberry!
