4. MSNBC covered it. CNN did not.
In fact, MSNBC is repeating the story, yet again, right after the break. As for CNN, they are getting as bad as FAUX News!!!:grr:

Thanks for the addresses! K&R!!!:kick:

Perhaps the blonde bushbot anchoring execized "editorial control" and killed the report.:grr:

16. If CNN Does Not Show Something Positive About Al Gore & his Speech
by tonight, I'll never watch again, either. Who needs them if they're all for 1 party. That's not what my country is about!

20. My friend recently e-mailed them, telling them just that.
He's totally had it with them, and I agree. I mean, this has got to be the biggest news story of the day, at least in this country! They have no excuse not to cover it and to ignore it shouts, not just speaks, volumes! But this is nothing new for CNN. When 50,000 Iraqis took to the streets, back in 2003, to protest the US occupation, they had nothing, despite having reporters on the ground in Baghdad. I remember taking part in a MoveOn e-mail campaign, regarding this, so it sticks in my mind. When are people going to wake up and take notice?! "Liberal media," my a**!!!:grr:

28. I'm with you!
Our country is under the worse corruption, and Constitutional crisis like never, ever before. Elder family members say this is WORSE then the Hoover days because of the technology utilized against us now.

Al Gore's speech today was historic, most significant and so vitally important to ALL OF US AMERICANS, that if CNN does not show a major part of this, same goes for MSNBC and all the others (without the negativity), it will be obvious lines have been drawn in the sand.

What a sad day in our history when Jimmy Carter has to come out with a book telling the American people we're in deep trouble. And Al Gore takes a major stand as well.

What amazes me the most is, are we to presume that all of the big-wigs destroying our rights & liberties, and all of *&Co's friends, family, children, grandchildren, etc., are all of them GOP straight down the line? I don't think so. None of us agreed with our elders on everything. It just makes no sense to me.

Trade in your kids for the almighty power of the buck? Senseless.

30. Blitzer's "Situation Room:" "Gore: Bush Broke Law"
His guests are Donna Brazile and Bay Buchanan, but he led with Brazile. And he just brought up the "I" word, after showing a film clip of Specter. He's letting the debate on Gore's speech go on and Brazile is, obviously, much better spoken. And he even brought up Ashcroft being consulted on what was almost his death bed. And he have Donna the last word. Either Blitzer is making an actual effort to be fair or he's afraid Jack Cafferty, who's coming up next, will kick his a**! LOL!:D

But I agree with you about Jimmy Carter and Al Gore, and even Bill Clinton is speaking out on this. Besides the vacuum in the MSM, where are our current Democratic leaders on all this?! Sometimes I feel like John Conyers and Dennis Kucinich are the only ones who are doing or saying anything! And I'm almost convinced that they've managed to clone John Conyers!:grr:

31. Ok.
Just turned on the tube to CNN. Let's see.

Thanks for the heads-up. I might stan on long enough to see if Lou Dobbs will say anything positive. You know, for the other half of their fellow Americans.

And I agree with that last paragraph as well. Carter, Gore, Bill Clinton, Murtha, Conyers, Kucinich - where are the rest? is right!

32. OK. Wolfie's Getting A Tad Better there...
I gotta see more though. And, tell Wolf to stop pushing Iran on us! Diplomacy, please!

Use to watch CNN all of the time! Recall when Wolf was in the trenches of Iraq way back when. I'd certainly love to have a reporter I could trust to cover all sides fairly, again. It would instill my faith in this country.

But, I won't hold my breathe awaiting.

10. Good idea. PLUS: how can we get the speech telecast in primetime?
Can moveon sponsor it? Can Soros pay for a telecast on PBS? Can PBS air it on its own? Many people need to see it, but I fear that the very thing that Gore warned about, manipulation of information, will keep exposure limited. We should call for coverage using the contacts above, but should also work proactively to get it aired directly on channgels that people will watch....can't trust media to give it its due.

Time Magazine should reprint the speech in next issue. IPOD podcasts should be made available on CNN, MSNBC, etc. CNN talk show hosts should discuss over the next week, playing parts each night....etc.

Should be the major topic of discussion for weeks.
