2. Let us give deference to Rep Murtha's age
he is 73 right now. Why would any man want to be the target of right wing hate for the rest of his life?

4. Murtha's doing great things, but he's not going to run for Pres/VP
He's also a hawk (Iraq notwithstanding).. I believe our goal should be peace, not war.

7. Well, it got my vote too, but
ironically, those are the two candidates who have absolutely ruled out running in 2008

8. Gore /Kerry left out intentionally?
both of these men got screwed out of their rightful place. I would love to see the two of them make things right.

I wouldn't be opposed to Gore/Boxer either.

9. Kerry might have made the cut, but for not fighting harder after
the election --- too much recent baggage IMHO.

And I voted for him, too.

23. Way to soon for Obama
He has a lot to do in Congress, we need him there right now.

Boxer has proved herself and she gives us the strong woman that the DLC is using to further the hillary concept.

34. Really? and Bush wasn't ready either. And he was "elected" twice.
If Gore/Obama would win, who freakin cares if he is ready or not. It's the Vice Presidency for Christ's sake. We could go back to the VP being second in command.

37. Oh, yes, let us use Bush as an example.
Nuff said, don't you think.

And Bush wasn't elected, he stole the election twice.

Obama has much to do in his elected office, he should do that. To be honest, I see him as to DLC, maybe Gore's challenge will have empowered him to do what is right, not what is popular.

:hi:

17. My case for Gore /Conyers
(I could live with Gore and several choices listed).

First of all Conyers is ranking member on the judicial committee in the House. We will need someone who has already had hearings and has legal experience to deal with the damage shrub has done. Also, Conyers would be an excellent choice since he is Black, esp. if they run Rice.

Also, Conyers would be a big help with voting rights and civil rights repairs. He's been through all this before and he has contacts in the African American civil rights community. He hired Rosa Parks, so I am sure he know many in the NAACP.

That's the only way this country will ever get back on track.

and My two-year old.

Twol months agon folks here were ready to coronate Mark Warner because he helped Tim Kaine retain the VA goverorship. Now averybody is jumping onth Al Gore Band Wagon for one speech. If he rallies the party to his side, then I will say ok..but my GOd....these folks are fickle.

I'd vote for any of those tickets over the war criminals and morons currently in the White House.
